    Jake Hersher and Mark Wolfe, both of Syracuse, NY have joined forces to create a fresh and original approach to acoustic, acoustic rock, jazz, country and roots music. Acoustic Silver is now available for live performance all over the Central New York area. Jake gathers in his talents as a jazz/acoustic flutist, an acoustic/country dobro player, a seasoned lead singer and a producer of superb custom backing tracks. For this project, he combines a 50+ year career in classical, jazz, acoustic and world music performance with his passion for vocal arranging and recording technology. The result is a unique sound fabric that combines a customized “virtual backing band” with the live sound of his voice, his dobro stylings and his extraordinary skills as a flute soloist. The Acoustic Silver signature sound is completed with lush and sophisticated vocal harmonies. Mark is a seasoned percussionist and session drummer in the Syracuse area and has performed with many local ensembles. To add depth and texture to the sound, he performs on conga and bongo drums as well as a colorful variety of specialty percussion instruments. His ability to play many genres is the perfect finishing touch to the sweet and sophisticated live sound of Acoustic Silver.
